Stone Trunk Show September 3rd-4th!

Stacy Broas opened The Creative Fringe in November of 2003.  "My vision was to create a beader's paradise and teach others the joy of making things with their own hands."  Stacy has a degree in fine art and loves color and craft work of all kinds, with jewelry making topping the list, of course!  She is also passionate about the earth and growing food.  One of her designs had the good fortune of being published! Check out page 102 of BEADER'S STASH!

Rose Kren began working at The Creative Fringe in October of 2004.  Her background includes working in acrylics, and watercolors, graphite drawings, and pastels.  She loves to show people the fundamentals of working in hot and cold connections of metal and glass bead making. We have some of her beads for sale at the store! Be sure to check them out! She also has two sites on Etsy: one for beads and one for her sewing projects.  Outside of the store Rose loves being active outside, being with her dogs and husband, and playing piano.
Jana Tafelski is a Michigan based artist who specializes in intricate beading projects and bead weaving.  She continues to learn and experiment in all types of beading as well as enjoying adding beads to almost everything because "beads make her happy".  Jana's a great person to ask questions about metalsmithing, silver art clay, and intricate seed bead work.
Bri Viken is a Grand Valley student studying Business.  She wants to work in the jewelry field someway, possibly being in a Jeweler.  She has been making all sorts of jewelry for as long as she can remember.  Bri loves working in silver, and loves using metal working in her projects.  She also enjoys making glass beads in her free time.  She is always interested in learning new things, when she can.
Erika Broas is a student at Grand Haven High School.   She has an eccentric style and fun creativity. Come visit her to help you put together something eclectic.

Staci Jeltema has worked at the Creative Fringe for three years.  She now leaves us during the school year to be a student at Kendall studying photography.  She has a fantastic eye for color and design.  If you're looking to make something truly unique come on in and see what she's got to inspire you with.
